Brand: Mitsubishi

The Mitsubishi M-P04 is a mid-engined sports car concept introduced by Mitsubishi Motors in 2004. It was designed to showcase the company's advanced technologies and capabilities in powertrain, handling, and design. The car's name, M-P04, represents its purpose as an experimental model (M) for in-house testing and development (P04).The M-P04 features a mid-mounted 2.0-liter turbocharged MIVEC engine that produces 280 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. This power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed Sportronic CVT transmission with three driving modes: Normal, Sport, and Snow. The car's body is made of aluminum and carbon fiber, and its aerodynamics were optimized for maximum downforce and stability at high speeds. The cockpit is driver-oriented, with a low-slung seating position and a sports steering wheel. The M-P04's handling capabilities were further enhanced with Mitsubishi's S-AWC (Super All Wheel Control) system, which integrates ABS, TCS, and BAS into a coordinated active safety and dynamic handling control system.Overall, the Mitsubishi M-P04 is a testament to Mitsubishi's engineering and design prowess, showcasing the potential of future Mitsubishi models while also serving as a technological showpiece. However, it remains only a concept, and it's unlikely we'll see a production version of this exotic sports car anytime soon.
