This model is the latest iteration in the DA-1 series, featuring significant enhancements in both performance and aesthetics.The DA-1.1 uses a three-way, D'Appollito array architecture with five drivers for each speaker. The tweeter is a custom-designed, narrow-bore soft dome unit, while the midrange and bass drivers are proprietary aluminum cone drivers with long-throw voice coils. The midrange driver is mounted in a separate baffle board above the bass unit, which helps to reduce interference and provides better imaging and localization.The crossover network in the DA-1.1 is a complex, multicomponent design that utilizes premium-grade components such as Polypropylene capacitors and air-core inductors.
