Brand: Ati

The ATI AT1506 is a video capture card released by ATI (Advanced Micro Devices, or AMD) in 2001. It was intended to allow users to capture and edit video content on their computers, as digital video became increasingly common. The card supported resolutions up to 720x480 and included connectors for composite, S-video, and RGB inputs. It was compatible with Microsoft Windows 98/ME/2000 and supported motion JPEG and MPEG-1 encoding. The ATI AT1506 was positioned as an adequate but more affordable alternative to ATI's higher-end video capture cards, such as the ATI K133 and K128 Pro cards. However, as hardware and software for video editing evolved, the AT1506 became less popular and was eventually discontinued by AMD in favor of more advanced video capture technologies.
