The Akai SW-127 is a footswitch designed to provide hands-free control over various functions in music production and live performance setups. It is compatible with Akai Professional's MPC series of production centers and MPC live software as well as support for other popular software such as Ableton Live and Native Instruments software. The SW-127 allows for triggering of samples, transport controls for stopping, starting, and recording, as well as various function switching options, all with the press of a foot. Additionally, it has a rugged design and an input jack for connectivity with eight-pin TRS midi pedals.
